In a very stylised way, this wildflower painting represents foxgloves in a garden setting - maybe one with some ruins that nature has colonised. I love the lime green/magenta contrast which I've probably over-used in recent work! Whenever you see foxgloves or rose-bay willowherb in the countryside, they have this amazing colour "pop." which draws the eye.

I used acrylic paints, inks, crayons and collage. I make my own collage papers by painting on lightweight sheets with layers of professional grade colour. After cutting out shapes with a knife, I glue the pieces onto a prepared wood panel using archival glue.

Available framed or unframed

Framed option: A bespoke dove grey floating frame adds style and emphasis. Other colours available - please enquire.

Unframed option: This painting can be hung directly on your wall. The edges of the panel are carefully painted to give a good finish from all angles. Supplied with a hook on the back.

Both options are suitable for international shipping.
