"Fragments and Forms" is a mixed-media painting that emerged from my exploration of textured backgrounds, a process that has always intrigued me, especially drawing from my printmaking background. In this piece, I aimed to capture the essence of wild flowers and grasses, using layers of collage and water-soluble crayons to build depth and bring a sense of light to the composition. 
 
I used acrylic paints, inks and collage. I make my own collage papers by painting on lightweight sheets with layers of professional grade colour. After cutting out shapes with a knife, I glue the pieces onto good-quality paper using archival glue.

Framed option: The frame is solid oak, just beautiful natural wood 2cm (front) x 2cm (side). Black frame with similar dimensions also available. It has an acid free mount (flat mounted with window) and art glass for UV protection and greatly reduced reflections. Ready to hang with d-rings and string attached. Carefully packed for delivery by courier. UK only for framed.
 
Mounted option: It comes with an acid free mount (flat mounted with window) and backing board. Cellophane wrapped and carefully flat-packed in a strong cardboard box.
