This image has a real glow to it and the colours suggest the warm days of late summer when the hay has been cut and gathered. The little cottage with trees all around looks to be the perfect spot to rest and enjoy the fruits of the harvest!

The original for this is a monotype, a unique printed painting. I use rollers and dabbers to spread out the ink then make marks with a cloth and other tools. I incorporate textured materials by impressing inked up wallpaper and fabric. There are three layers of colour working from light to dark.

This giclee reproduction is made to the highest standards on high quality paper. The accuracy of colour to the original is first rate.
