A Touch of Red" strives to captivate with its delicate flower shapes and refined color palette. Featuring soft pops of red poppies set against a textured background, this mixed-media painting draws inspiration from the changing seasons and the subtle elegance of nature. The layered collage technique enhances depth and light, while the careful restriction of color hopes to create a harmonious composition.
 
I used acrylic paints, inks and collage. I make my own collage papers by painting on lightweight sheets with layers of professional grade colour. After cutting out shapes with a knife, I glue the pieces onto good-quality paper using archival glue.

Framed option: The frame is solid oak, just beautiful natural wood 2cm (front) x 2cm (side). Black frame with similar dimensions also available. It has an acid free mount (flat mounted with window) and art glass for UV protection and greatly reduced reflections. Ready to hang with d-rings and string attached.
