A serene rural vista, looking through grasses and seedheads towards fields and rolling hills. I used more natural, subtle colours with a strong tonal contrast between the pale stubble fields and dark umbellifers, to give a sense of depth and atmosphere. Agriculture and nature exist together harmoniously.

The original for this one was a monotype: a printed painting. Using rollers and dabbers, I spread out the ink onto a plastic board then made marks with a cloth and other tools before printing onto paper. I built up layers of over-lapping colous by printing several times, often with paper stencils The patterns are made by impressing inked up wallpaper and fabric.

This giclee reproduction print is made to the highest standards on high quality paper with achival grade inks. The accuracy of colour to the original is first rate.
